WINTER BUCKET LIST

Is it feeling like winter where you live? Do you have snow? We had a huge amount of snow earlier in October and now it has been so mild and sunny here and no snow. I can't wait for it to snow again, I love the winter scenery here in the Okanagan and I am really hoping we have a white Christmas this year. I have lived here for 3 years and each year was magical and I hope this year is the same.

And I thought since all of our holiday celebrations will look a little different this year, what better way to kick off the chillier weather than sharing my top 10 items I want to check off my Winter bucket list this season!

1. Go ice skating

There’s nothing like tossing on a pair of ice skates to test your balancing skills! For the ultimate winter, experience try finding a local outdoor rink!

2. Support local

We all know that there is a lot of shopping that goes down over the holidays. This season, ensure you are helping to support small, local businesses when you can!

3. Make hot chocolate bombs

Is there anything better than sipping on some hot cocoa a snowy evening? I have been seeing hot chocolate bombs all over Pinterest and it is something I want to try. Check out my Pinterest for some inso and recipes HERE

Spread the holiday cheer this year by supporting a local food bank or donating gifts to families in need.

Is there something you’ve been meaning to try for a while like snowshoeing or cross country skiing? There’s no time like the present to give it a try!!!

7. Holiday movie marathon

Some winter days are meant for staying inside and binge-watching holiday classics that bring you back to your childhood! And don't forget the Hallmark Chanel cheesy christmas movies. For some movie inso check out my blog on The Ultimate Christmas Movie Guide

This is what the holiday season is meant for. Take time to enjoy little moments with friends and family as much as you can whether it’s getting outside to build a snowman or making memories outside by a bonfire!

We have a few great spots here in the Okanagan, there is nothing I love more then visiting a Winter Wonderland
