CLOSET STAPLES: SPRING MUST HAVES

This post comes highly requested to share my go-to closet staples and basics that I wear on the daily or use to pair with the more statement pieces in my closet. These are the items I’m wearing time and time again and most year after year. Part of my job requires me to try on clothes, review them and let you know what I love and what I don’t love. This is a review of my favorite pieces that your closet can’t live without!

I LOVE my denim jacket! It’s one that I wear weekly, if not daily. It is probably one of the most worn pieces in my closet. You can style a denim jacket with pretty much anything.

My go-to denim shorts are from Abercrombie. I really like the high-rise and distressed fit. I love the way they fit around the thighs; if you are looking for ones that are loose around the thigh I would highly recommend these. In my opinion a pair of denim shorts is a musht have basic.

Old Navy jeans are my go-to white jeans! I love their modern skinny fit and they have the perfect amount of distress on them. White jeans for the summer are the best outfit essential, wear them on date night, being a tourist during vacation or just running around doing errands.

Another piece I’m always reaching for are my cozy cardigans. I am always chilly inside and am constantly wearing lightweight cardigans. I usually find my favorites Old Navy or Target. I also really like oversized cardigans that are good for lounging from Aerie and Abercrombie. I would suggest looking for something neutral that you can layer with cami, tees and jeans!

There are so many good sandals out right now!! I recently got the Steve Madden Travel sandal and I am in love with them. Another Steve Madden favourite is the Grady sandal, they are comfy and casual and great for travel too . A must have for me is to have a great pair of nude strappy heels, they are great for weddings, date night and you can pair them with everything.

I hope this info is helpful!! I will try to do more posts like this as we go through different seasons.
