At Wedding Cup & Life, we get that ordering a wedding dress online is a pretty big call. Because every gown is custom-made to your exact measurements, our return policy is designed to be fair while protecting the craftsmanship that goes into each dress. Have a read through this policy before you place your order.

Custom-Made Dress Returns

Since each wedding dress is handcrafted to your personal measurements (bust, waist, hips, hollow to floor, height, and shoulder width), custom-made gowns are generally non-returnable. That said, we want you to feel confident shopping with us, so we've got solutions if something's not quite right.

Quality Guarantee

Every Cheap Wedding Dresses from Wedding Cup & Life is inspected before shipping. If your wedding dress arrives with a manufacturing defect — like broken stitching, incorrect beading, fabric flaws, or a colour that doesn't match what was shown on our website — we'll sort it out. You're covered for a free remake or a full refund within 14 days of delivery. No questions asked.

Measurement Discrepancy Policy

If your dress doesn't match the custom measurements you provided at checkout, get in touch within 7 days of delivery. We'll compare the actual garment measurements against your original order. If the error is on our end, we'll either alter the dress at no cost or send a brand-new replacement free of charge.

To avoid measurement dramas, we strongly recommend following our Size Guide and having a professional seamstress take your measurements before ordering.

How to Start a Return or Claim

1. Get in touch with our bridal support team via our contact page or by phone on +61 2 4228 6139. Have your order number and photos of the dress ready.
2. We'll review your request within 1–2 business days and issue a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number if applicable.
3. Pack the dress carefully — fold it gently with tissue paper in a garment bag or the original packaging to prevent creasing or damage in transit.
4. Ship the dress using a trackable, insured shipping method and include the RMA number on the package.

Refund Processing

Once we receive your returned dress and verify the issue, refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to your original payment method.

• Credit/debit card: Refund appears on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
• PayPal: Refund is credited to your PayPal account within 3–5 business days.

Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to a manufacturing defect or our error.

Exchanges

Changed your mind on the style? If your dress hasn't gone into production yet, we can switch your order to a different gown — just get in touch as soon as possible. Once production has started, exchanges follow the same process as returns.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your wedding dress arrives damaged during shipping, or if you receive the wrong dress entirely, contact us straight away — ideally within 48 hours of delivery. Please include:

• Your order number
• A clear description of the problem
• Photos showing the damage, defect, or incorrect item

We'll arrange a free replacement or full refund, including return shipping costs. Your big day matters to us and we'll make sure you've got the perfect gown.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items can't be returned or refunded:

• Custom-made wedding dresses where no defect or measurement error exists
• Dresses that have been worn, altered by a third-party seamstress, or washed
• Accessories such as veils, belts, or jewellery that have been removed from their packaging

Cancellations

You can cancel your order for a full refund within 24 hours of placing it, provided your dress hasn't gone into production yet. After production begins, cancellation requests are handled on a case-by-case basis and may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 50%.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven't received your refund within 10 business days of our confirmation email, please check with your bank or payment provider first — processing times vary. If you still haven't received it, give us a shout and we'll look into it straight away.
